Membership to LeadPhysician is free.
To be a panel member of LeadPhysician you must be a practicing Physician or working in a profession related to healthcare for which you have obtained a medical degree.
As you are not a Physician, unfortunately you cannot join LeadPhysician. However, we do have a panel dedicated to Nurses, Veterinarians, Dentists, Optical Health Specialists, Pharmacists, and many other professions within the healthcare industry. To become part of that panel, please visit us at www.leadmedicalpanel.com.
To become a panel member, click here to complete the short application form in just a few minutes. If your referral completes the study successfully, you will be paid a referral fee. The value of this fee will be communicated to you within the referral request e-mail. Please note, to ensure the integrity of the study data collected, LeadPhysician reserves the right to contact your referrals and to verify them at their place of work, prior to accepting their survey data.
- In the event that such a referral e-mail has not been sent to you (yet) but you feel that any of your peers may be interested, please write to us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com and provide us with the project code of the study for which you are referring your colleague and his or her contact details.
Please ensure that for each referral you have informed them that you are passing along his or her details to LeadPhysician.
If you are having problems logging in to your member pages be aware of the following: - Your e-mail and password are case sensitive.
- One common problem is when members accidentally insert extra blank spaces before or after the e-mail/password when they copy/paste it in the field from a different source.
If you have checked for the above and the problem still persists, please contact us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com.

LeadPhysiciantakes its responsibility to the Healthcare Industry very seriously, especially as it directly contributes to key decisions. Therefore, we employ a data analyst team who vigorously monitors the panellists behaviour within and outside our studies. In the event that our data analyst team deems any of your activities on our panel and in our surveys as suspicious, we will suspend your account temporarily pending further investigation. Once your account is suspended, we will: - Put all your honoraria still due on hold
- Prevent you from further study participation
- Further investigate all your past activities and study answers.
If we find that your overall panellist behaviour, if necessary supported by more information requested from you, is no cause for concern, we will reactivate your account and pay out all outstanding honoraria. If we do however find that your behaviour is cause for greater concern and or that you are in breach of any of our clauses stated within our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, LeadPhysician reserves the right to terminate your panel membership. We will communicate our decisions to suspend your account, to reactivate your account and to terminate your account with you by email.
At the beginning of each study, you will be asked a number of questions called screeners. These help us identify the right person for a specific study. Some screener questions are similar to questions we have asked you as part of your profile. As our clients use these questions for analysis purposes, it is key that the information collected is accurate and up to date.
We try to use your profile information to best target appropriate studies for your participation. Therefore, when your profile details are up to date, you should qualify for most of the studies that we invite you to. If your profile is not up to date, you have a greater chance that you will be disqualified on future studies. To avoid disappointment, make sure that your profile is complete and kept up to date by going to your personal member pages, under 'Your Profile' section. You may not qualify for a survey for many different reasons. We make sure that we place questions that could disqualify our panellists from the survey at the beginning. That way, panellists who will not qualify do not spend more than a minute or two taking the survey.
Our studies are normally open for 1 or 2 weeks. Depending on the target audience, the survey may be quite popular and close quickly. We always try to give our panellist the opportunity to complete our studies by not over inviting our panellists, but we cannot always correctly predict how popular a study will be. We appreciate your willingness to complete our studies and we are very sorry if we have disappointed you on occasion. However, we do hope to welcome you again soon to new studies.
There may be two reasons why you cannot come back to complete a study you have interrupted: For the integrity of some of our studies it is key that the study is completed in one sitting. Therefore, once you leave a study prematurely you will not be able to re-access it.During the time that you were absent, the study has reached its quota of respondents with a similar professional background to yours and thus the study has been closed for that quota. With this in mind, it is best to finish the study in one sitting if you can. For those studies where you can re-access the study on a later date, you will be allowed to continue. If possible you will be taken back to the point where you left the study. To avoid disappointment, keep the gap between your first and subsequent sitting as short as possible. LeadPhysician only pays an honorarium for a successful completion and does not pay for part completion, unless it can be shown mitigated circumstances occurred (e.g. severe technical difficulties).
In most of our studies, unfortunately, once you submit an answer to a question you are not allowed to go back and change it. We do this to protect the integrity of the study data. If we allowed our panellists to go back and change their answers, that person may see that they didn’t qualify, go back, change their answer to “Yes” and continue taking the full study. That person’s answers would then corrupt our data. We realise there are times when a panellist makes an honest mistake and clicks the wrong button. Unfortunately, we cannot risk the validity of our data in order to accommodate such mistakes. If you feel that your mistake and its rectification is an honest error, please contact us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com and provide us with the question number where you made the mistake and the answer you wanted to give.
The amount of time needed for completion of a study, as stated in your invitation, is an approximation only and is based on careful review. This approximation is based on study participation under normal conditions and does not take into account factors outside our control (such as your connection speed, computer and ISP). Occasionally, we have too many people accessing the same survey and it may slow down individual page download time. Also, depending on how you answer certain questions, you may be asked additional questions that others taking the same study are not asked and therefore increasing your individual study length.
To allow for all our panellists to have an equal chance to participate in our studies, we randomise the sample of panellists matched to the study content prior to inviting them to our studies. This 'sampling' rule means that it may appear that you are receiving more studies per month than in previous months, but this could be based on something as simple as luck.
Members of LeadPhysician can choose the means by which they wish to receive their honoraria payments. The range of honoraria types available to our panellists differs by country. To review our full portfolio of honoraria please log into your personal member pages using your registered e-mail address and your password and go to the 'Honoraria' section. LeadPhysician endeavours to offer its panellists an attractive honoraria program. Suggestions to which additional honoraria types LeadPhysician should offer its panellists are always welcome.
Your choice of preferred honoraria is completely personal and you can change this at any time in your personal members pages under the 'Honoraria' section. Please be aware that when you change your honoraria, that any honorarium not yet paid to you will be paid by means of your updated honoraria preference. You can see the status of all honoraria due to you and the means by which we have paid them to you under your personal 'Honoraria History' on your personal member pages. Please note that for the different honorarium types there are different payment schedules and associated terms and conditions. For example, our voucher rewards will be sent to you within 2 to 5 working days by e-mail, whereas a cheque may take 10 or more working days to reach your destination by post. More details on the honorarium types available to you can be found within your personal member pages under the 'Honoraria' section.
Simply login to your personal member pages. Under the 'Honoraria' section you can find all information you need to manage and monitor your honoraria and history. Under 'Honoraria History' you can find the studies for which you are due an honorarium, whether it has been paid, and in which form. In the event that your honoraria has not been paid and you have completed the relevant study more than 4 weeks ago, please write to us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com, stating the project number and the PIN for the study you completed. In the event that the study is not listed under your 'Honoraria History' please write to us, at panelsupport@leadphysician.com, stating the project and if possible the reference number included in your invite. Not providing the project number or the reference number will delay the resolution of your query.
It is our aim to ensure our panelists receive their honorarium as soon as possible after completion of a study. Therefore, after you completed your first study, we will ask you what kind of honorarium you would like to receive. The selection you make at this point will be your preferred honoraria choice. If at any point you would like to change your honoraria choice, you can do so on your personal member pages, under the 'Honoraria' section. Please be aware that the updated preferred honoraria choice will only apply to studies that have not yet been processed.
In general, you will receive your honorarium within 3-4 weeks after a study has been closed. If you have not received your honorarium after 4 weeks, write to us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com, stating the project number and the PIN. Please note that for the different honoraria types there are different payment schedules and associated terms and conditions. For example, our voucher rewards will be sent to you within 2 to 5 working days of completing the study, whereas a cheque may take 10 or more working days to reach your destination by post. More details on the honorarium types available can be found within your personal member pages under the 'Honoraria' section.
If you still have not received your honorarium after 4 weeks, please write to us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com There are a couple of factors that may delay your honorarium: - Incorrect or incomplete delivery address details.
- The name details on your cheque do not match those of the bank account to which you are depositing your cheque
- Your address details are in foreign characters (e.g. Japanese) rather than westernised characters. Our honoraria providers can only process honoraria for which the address details are in western characters (e.g. English Characters)
It is your responsibility to ensure that the details we have for you and to which we will send your honoraria are up to date and complete at all times.
As with all honoraria programs, there is a cost associated with running them. In most instances, we cover these costs, but in some instances this is not possible as the overall fees to run the program are too high. We may with prior notice deduct a small administration fee from the value of your payment to cover additional costs to provide numerous honoraria choices requested by panellists. We will allow you to make an informed decision as to which honoraria type you prefer by giving you an insight into these costs.
We normally round up or down the value of your vouchers to the nearest whole number. Therefore from 0 to 0.49 we round the honorarium down and from 0.50 to 0.99 we round it up. In your local currency, a 35.12 honorarium would give a 35 voucher and a 35.64 honorarium would give you a 36 voucher.
Depending on your country of residence, you may need to declare income from market research studies to your local financial authorities. You are solely responsible to declare any taxes, if due, to your local financial authorities. LeadPhysician will not be liable for this nor provide your local financial authority with any details on your behalf. Details on any honoraria paid to you can be found on your personal member pages under the 'Honoraria History' section. More details on your obligations in regards to your membership to LeadPhysician can be found within our Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Sometimes when it is not possible to pay your incentive in the normal way or within 6 weeks, we may opt to pay you by other means. If this is the case, we will confirm this with you by e-mail and let you know that this is an exception that will not change your preferred honoraria type. At this point, you can always notify us whether you prefer to wait or whether you prefer to receive the alternative honoraria. However, in the event that you have not received such an email from us, yet the honoraria type for a selected study is not what you expected, please write us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com explaining the problem and detailing the study. Not providing the full details requested will result in a delay in resolving this matter.
p>To check the delivery status of your voucher code, please first check your 'Honoraria History' in your personal member pages. In the history page you can find out which studies you have been paid for and which studies are still to be paid.If the project for which you are missing the voucher code has already been paid, you can find the voucher code we have sent to you by e-mail under the 'Reward Reference' column. In this case, what has happened most likely is that the e-mail with the voucher code has gotten trapped in your SPAM filter in your e-mail inbox. To prevent this from happening again, please ensure that you have added the following domain name, @leadphysician.com, to your Safe Sender list. For more information on how to add our domain name to your safe sender list, go to Safe Sender. When the project for which you are missing your voucher code has not been paid and you completed the study over 4 weeks ago, please contact us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com, stating the project number and the PIN for the study for which you are missing the voucher code. In the event that the study for which you are missing your voucher code is not listed at all under your 'Honoraria History' also write to us, at panelsupport@leadphysician.com, and state again the project for which you are missing your voucher code and if possible the reference number included in the e-mail you received from us in which we notified you of the study available to you. Not providing this information will delay the resolution of your query.
On rare occasions, the voucher code that we have sent to you may not work. If this is the case, please contact us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com and provide us the voucher code and the project number for the study to which the voucher code relates so we can send you a replacement code. Not providing the full details requested will result in a delay in resolving this matter. To ensure you receive this voucher code, please ensure that you have added the following domain name, @leadphysician.com, to your Safe Sender list. For more information on how to add our domain name to the safe sender list for your e-mail inbox, go to Safe Sender.
In some countries, we are able to offer you honoraria by cheque but in a growing number of countries banks are charging up to 50% in fees to accept cheques. These fees are normally deducted from the cheque amount you are cashing in. Therefore, LeadPhysician has opted to only offer cheques in those countries where there are no alternative rewards available or for those countries where the cash-in fees are deemed acceptable. Based on the country where you want to receive your honoraria, we will display all honorarium types available to you on your personal member pages.
Banks have different reasons for refusing a cheque, which are not all under our control. However, the most common reason for a bank to refuse a cheque is because the cheque issued is not in the correct name. Therefore, when selecting check as your preferred honoraria choice, please ensure that the name details provided are as they appear on your bank account to which you intend to deposit checks in the future. Should your bank refuse to accept and cash-in your cheque for any other reason, please contact us at panelsupport@leadphysician.com with a full description of the problem so that we can investigate the matter on your behalf.
On rare occasions it can happen that you receive an unsigned cheque. We do apologise for this sincerely. In the event this occurs, please post it back and we will reissue a new cheque. We cannot issue you with a new cheque until we have physically received your unsigned cheque. The address to return your cheque to is: LeadPhysician C/o Panel Support Unity Wharf 2/3 Mill Street 13 SE1 2BH London United Kingdom
When you have chosen to receive your honorarium for studies completed by you by means of the LeadPhysician VISA Debit Card, we will send you your LeadPhysician card after you completed your first study. After you have received your LeadPhysician Card, you first will need to activate it (details on how to activate your card can be found at www.leadphysician.com/leadmembers/files/Travelex_card_activation_EN.pdf Once your card is activated, we will transfer any monies due to you onto that card. We will continue to transfer monies for all future studies you partake in until you change your honoraria type to anything other than the LeadPhysician VISA Debit Card. Note that when you change your honoraria type from the card to, for example, a voucher reward, you can still access the funds that we loaded onto your card in the past until the funds available on your card has reached zero value.
There are some fees associated with your LeadPhysician VISA Debit Card. Each time you use your card in a non-USD territory you will be charged a 5.75% Foreign Exchange transaction fee on all transactions, regardless whether this is an ATM / Cash Machine withdrawal or a purchase online or in a shop. In addition to this fee, each time you use your card in an ATM / Cash machine you will be charged an additional withdrawal fee of $2.50. Therefore it will not be possible to withdraw all funds from your card. Please be aware that each honoraria type available through the LeadPhysician Honoraria Program has its own set of fees and Terms and Conditions. For example, when you cash in a cheque at your local bank you will be charged a cash-in fee, which differs from bank to bank, and when you order products via our online voucher providers, there may be postage charges deducted from your voucher amount. More details on our Honoraria Program and the individual reward type Terms and Conditions can be found under the 'Honoraria' section on your personal member pages.
Our relationship with our panellists is based on mutual trust. It is of paramount importance to us that we treat your personal details with the utmost respect. For further details please read our full Privacy Policy.
